It was a cloudy day, the grey, heavy clouds casting a gloomy look across the abondoned city. It was quiet as well, only the occasional chirp of birds or sound of hoods breaking the silence. Till a pair of shoes crashed into the ground. He let out a sigh, standing up from his crouched position to look around. He was a scanner unit, and had been freshly dispatched. Leaving him to be more then excited to finally get to explore earth. "I see why the humans loved this place so much...the greens are so pretty." 9s mumbled to himself, walking forward and away from the building he had leapt off of. He hummed softly as he walked, a metal, rectangular pod floating behind him. Just as he was about to leave the area, pod 153 spoke. "Life force detected" 9s froze, and turned. "What-?" He asked, his eyes wide beneath the bandage covering them. The pod turned, and then pointed towards a fallen building. "20 feet away. The life force is human sized." 9s looked at the building, and then quickly dashed towards it. The inside was dark, shadows making it hard to see. Cobwebs and dust clung to the concrete walls. "Hello?" 9s called out.
