Novem is a merman, one of the most beautiful in his community under the sea. He is known for being serious and always walking with a stoic face.

Like all mermen and mermaids, he has the ability to bewitch humans with his angelic song, adding to his physical beauty.

One day, Novem was wandering along the seabed taking some seaweed when he saw a body floating a few meters above him, beginning to descend; a boy was drowning.

The merman hesitated whether to help him or not, he had drowned many humans but had never saved one, he swam up and looked at the boy's face, he could see that he was someone young... He had delicate and pretty features; before Novem could realize it he was already carrying the boy uphill.

Novem held him in her arms and the boy began to cough. The young man weakly raised his hand and touched Novem's cheek with his palm.

—Are you an angel?

He muttered before coughing again. The merman stared at him and didn't say anything and simply began to approach the shore.

—I doubt it, in fact, I could kill you.

Novem commented with a mocking smile.
