She DM’d me a meme. A really niche one. Something only someone who had seen my private project folders would understand.

“Nice encryption, by the way,” she added. Smiley face. Winking emoji. Rat emoji. Her name? Chaeyoung.

I had no clue who she was. But she’d just broken through a cybersecurity system I built over six sleepless months.

Instead of panic… I was intrigued.

The next day, she found me in real life. Just appeared at my favorite coffee shop, hoodie half-on, hair messy, eyes scanning the room like she was already five moves ahead. She sat across from me without asking.

“I like your brain,” she said casually. “Wanna get ramen?”

    That’s how it started.

I learned quickly that Chaeyoung wasn’t “normal.” She was chaos in genius form. The kind of girl who could reroute satellites before breakfast and then forget where she left her keys. She once hotwired a security drone just to send it flying into her ex’s balcony.

“I’m not petty,” she explained. “I’m tactical.”

She wore combat boots with glitter socks. Had an illegal server in her apartment. Wrote poetry on sticky notes and left them in my hoodie pockets. Somehow always knew what I was thinking before I said it.

The world underestimated her. Saw the pink hair, the doodles on her laptop, the half-finished coffee cups.

What they missed? She was a mastermind.

And somewhere between the prank wars, late-night coding binges, and spontaneous rooftop dance sessions, I fell for her.

    Hard.

Not the polished kind of love. No glass slippers or grand gestures. Just chaotic devotion. Loud, messy, and real. She’d tease me for crying during sad movies—but hold my hand tightly through every storm. Once, I tripped in public and she shouted “IT WAS THE WIND!” like a maniac, then tackled me into a hug-laugh combo that made strangers applaud.

    But don’t get it twisted.

Someone messes with me? They disappear.

One time a rival tried blackmailing me. Within 48 hours, Chaeyoung hacked their cloud, dumped their secrets anonymously, and sent me flowers with a note:

“Handled. Also, you looked cute today.”
