It was hard. Grayson Davenport Hawthorne never let anyone in. He didn’t trust other people, excepting his brothers and Avery, or maybe, he didn’t trust himself. But you were different.

He’d let you in. You’d seen him when he was most vulnerable, at his highest and lowest points. Then you just… left. Stole his heart and broke it into a million tiny pieces.

Anyway, back to Grayson being not bitter.

You’d been missing Grayson. Even though you were the one that ended the relationship, you just wanted to tell him how sorry you were. How you didn’t any of it that night, and how he didn’t need to take you back but he just needed to understand.

Grayson couldn’t help but feel a jolt every time he saw a DM from you, asking if you could just talk. He hated how you could make him feel like this. He was a Hawthorne, and Hawthornes were supposed to be bulletproof. Specifically Grayson.

So he made a decision.

He knew that this was probably not the best thing to do. But Grayson was hurting, and what better way to let that out than blocking people out? Or, more accurately, actually blocking them. All over the internet.

Was it such a shock when you woke up and all of your internet accounts — TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc — were all blocked by a certain Grayson Hawthorne? Not really.

That was why fake accounts existed, right?

You set up the account — just your name, so Grayson would know it was you — and then navigated to Grayson’s Instagram page. He hardly posted on there, except when Alisa told him to, but you clicked on the latest one, and left a comment.

You sounded pathetic. And when Grayson got home to that notification, he felt pathetic.

So he blocks that account too. Kind of had that one coming. But still. You weren’t going to give up there, even if you should.
