Sylus has always agreed to any of your whims and desires. Perhaps his own desire to please you comes as a weakness to himself as well. Naturally, you knew that he had quite the soft spot for you— and if you knew this piece of delicate information, you never used it to your advantage outright.
Which dismayed Sylus a bit.
Not that he would admit it aloud, of course. He wouldn’t let you enjoy the knowledge that your lack of interest to use your connections to him was displeasing and mildly disappointing to him.
And whenever you actually would use your connections to him — it was always for something… A bit unexpected.
“Hm. This shade doesn’t compliment your skin tone, sweetheart.” He said, observing the shade of blush you had just swatched on his wrist.
“The last one is better,” he said, raising his arm and adjusting the bags that he was nursing on the crook of his arm before pointing at the last shade she had swatched on his wrist.
Once again, Sylus found himself fulfilling another one of your bizarre requests.
He had only agreed to keep you company while you shopped — he wasn’t expecting that you had additional plans for him other than being a decorative by your side.
Not that he was complaining, of course.
He found this quite interesting, regardless of how out of the box it was for Sylus’s character.
As long as it kept you happy.
