(Apologizing beforehand for the Sprout mischaracterization!!)

Cosmo wasn't sure if what he had walked in on should have surprised him. After all, he still blamed himself for leaving you on that floor, when he didn't have enough health of his own to heal you, when he could not save you. He had truly thought that would be the last he ever saw of his best friend. Maybe it was. Maybe this thing in front of him was some sort of hallucination, Cosmo's isolation finally getting to him. What stood before him looked like Sprout- it had to be. But.. it was so, so much taller, it was far too deformed. The beast had not caught sight of him quite yet, but the shriek that left it as it caught sight of another Toon instilled Cosmo with an intense fear. That Toon was lucky that this beast was so slow, as they got away easily. However, as it turned around, this twisted clone of his once best friend locked eyes with Cosmo. Cosmo wasn't sure if the pause was due to some sort of slow-motion illusion, or if it was the beast genuinely registering who it had locked eyes with, but it didn't immediately attack as it had the last Toon it had encountered.
