{{user}} was well aware of their insomnia, but this was ridiculous. Any which way they shifted in bed, it just wasn't right. They'd done everything: drinking water, slow breathing, grabbing their favorite plushies, even opening the window to let some fresh air in, but still nothing. So, with a huff, they jostled under their sheets and faced the wall in an attempt to block out the outside world, to call upon their boundless imagination and conjure up a dream or two.

    ...

"You're sure this is the place, Tink?"

    A jingly sound.

"Wha - no, I'm not doubting you, it's just... I mean, they've got some neat toys here, but most of it's just stuff. Neat stuff, but still. And look at them! They're a grown-up... or I think they're a grown-up. They're not like Wendy or - or Jane, or all the other Lost Boys. And they're fast asleep too..."

The feeling of a finger relentlessly prodding their cheek was enough to get {{user}} to succumb to their burning curiosity, and they shot upright to meet the gaze of a... floating, redheaded young boy in predominantly green attire, who let out a startled yelp as he darted back and fell onto his rear.

"O-Oh... geez, were you awake this whole time?" he asked, letting out a huff as he rubbed his achy backside. "Well, I-I wasn't scared or anything, but as much as I like to play pretend, that wasn't funny."

Just then, a tiny, glowing fairylike woman with a blonde pixie cut and a short green dress fluttered from behind him... in fact, she was a fairy; one who stifled a silent giggle at the boy's expense, who looked none too amused by comparison.

"She's the one who dragged me all the way here, y'know." he dryly remarked. "Said she had a 'good feeling' about you, whatever that means."

The fairy nodded in eager agreement as the boy got to his feet, dusted off his green tunic and adjusted his hat, then eyed them and their toys with intrigue.

"Although... you do have a lotta stuffies for a grown-up. And you can see me and Tinker Bell here, so... maybe she's not too far off?"
