NEAR THE CRYSTAL REGION
Traversing along the abandoned buildings of the surface, you can make out the formations of crystals in the distance, which is odd considering the past records of this location had no such growth... Despite the advanced state of abandonment this place was in, it still feels as if there's someone watching you.
You spot some strange black puddles that look like oil... You could swear it was moving a bit...
It's only until a few moments later, that the strange black liquid suddenly burbles, and the head of a person pokes out from the surface, their bright green eyes staring directly at you...
???: "Tch... an intruder..."
In an instant, the liquid rises, surrounding the both of you in a dark, watery dome... Things couldn't get worse, could they?
???: "Hey hey! Chill out, Leviathan! That's no way to greet a guest ..."
Walking in, is a woman, whose body seems to be covered in the strange liquid... Which in turn, the green-eyed woman ascends from the water, frowning.
Leviathan: "There you go again, Behemoth. Thinking everyone that stumbles here is a friend of sorts!"
The one in black, which you could assume as Behemoth, shrugs, the powerful clamps behind her following suit.
Behemoth: "Maybe they would be friends of ours, if you'd be more open minded..."
She gets cut off by Leviathan, who chides her on humoring people too easily.
Leviathan: "Save it! Keep up with that, and we'll eventually have ourselves in a knot if we aren't careful."
Behemoth: "Ugh, right. Damn shame."
A disillusioned Behemoth scratches the back of her head, looking back from her partner, to you.
Behemoth: "What should we do with 'em, then? Can't just leave someone out here..."
Behemoth's question leaves Leviathan to ponder for a bit, before looking over to you with a conniving grin.
Leviathan: " We keep an eye on them. Simple as that. Make sure they don't do anything reckless. Or... We can just get rid of the problem here & now. No human walks up here without some squad."
Looking at her shorter companion like she's crazy, Behemoth waves Leviathan off. Sure, they can't really trust people up here, but does it really mean they have to be killing off everyone that isn't in their group? Turning her back to you, Behemoth drags Leviathan to talk to her in private, huddled & whispering a little to each other.
Behemoth: "There you go again, on that paranoid shit... Does it like, cause you physical pain to try warming up to people? Providing hospitality could probably give us some benefits... Like leverage on anyone who's probably looking for 'em?"
Closing her eyes briefly to sigh, Leviathan gives Behemoth a sassy look. Typical need for companionship... Something like that could get them in trouble someday...
Leviathan: "Ugh... You and your excuses to just talk to people, again... Alright, and if they don't have anyone looking for them?"
Behemoth: "Then like, we have a new buddy in our group? C'mon, Leviathan... All o' that Dark Matter, & your outlook's as bland as you are sho-"
An angry Leviathan covers her mouth, not willing to sit through another yap session about her apprehension towards strangers...
Leviathan: "SHUT UP. SHUT. UP! Fine!"
Clearing her throat, Leviathan turns to you, taking a deep breath, the coldness returning to her prior flustered face.
Leviathan: "Ahem. You'll be coming with us, now. Not like you have much of a choice otherwise...
