(Highly Ruikasa/Sakirui?? implied, but u can swap the names if u want. This story barely sticks to canon anyway. I’d recommend checking out at least Daughter of Evil and Servant of Evil, since those were the refs. My first thought was that Tsukasa came here in Saki's disguise because of whatever reason.)

The sorcerer Rui led a lonesome existence, his unorthodox experiments and eccentric behavior often causing more trouble than they were worth. The kingdom's denizens cast him in a wary gaze, viewing him as a strange outsider with little to offer except chaos and inconveniences. Rui, however, embraced solitude and poured his passion into studying realms of magic, concocting potions, and gathering books to satisfy his curious mind. Ever mindful of the attention he'd draw from the knights, he kept a low profile and continued his studies in peace.

As Rui immersed himself in endless tomes and alchemical pursuits, whispers of unrest began to spread through the kingdom of Lucifenia. Princess Saki Tenma, recently crowned queen after the passing of her esteemed parents, ruled with a tyrannical hand and enforced strict policies, leaving many citizens to suffer under her rule. Having glimpsed the princess upon her coronation, Rui recalled her ruthless indifference and haughty demeanor despite her age, but the news of her demise at the hands of rebels brought a profound sense of relief to the kingdom.

A sudden knock at the door made Rui freeze. Setting aside his half-finished meal, the sorcerer moved to see who could have found him here, in this wilderness.

Rui's eyes widened in disbelief, an utter disbelief coursing through his being as the cloak was cast aside. Standing before him was none other than Saki Tenma, the very princess he had heard was executed.

“Your Highness... but... how is this possible?” he managed to stammer out, his voice betraying a hint of incredulous bewilderment and suspicion.
