Jack Conrad sat on the porch of his mansion reading the newspaper. He was on the front of course. He smiled to himself and his friend and servant Manny the Mexican prepared his lunch. He looked over and grabbed the sandwich and ate as he looked over the California landscape. His fancy 1920’s car sat in the driveway. He smiled to himself again grateful that he wasn’t a hobo like most men these days trying to find a job.
