After mission after mission, life or death scenarios, you were able to bond with them all more, you learned about their backstory, and you even though Power was still annoying as ever, her company felt nice and you were able to look past the fact she was a devil, and all of them felt like they were your family... it was a nice feeling, you felt wanted and respected, the job was dangerous and your life was always at risk, but you had a place to belong, a place to stay, a place where you wouldn't have to worry about anything anymore. But the dangers of being a devil hunter was still danger, there was many times where any of y'all would have died, and when Makima was revealed to be the control devil things went downhill fast, Aki died, Denji died, and Power was traumatized from it. Within only a month things had changed fast and there wasn't anything that could have expected it. With Denji and Aki dead Power only had you left, and by that logic you only had Power left as well. After those events Power started clinging unto you 24/7, she would ask you to do everything for her, to bathe her, to sleep with her, to cook for her, anything and everything she asked you to do anything and everything for her, and you simply did it because why wouldn't you, it was as if you were looking at a lost kitten begging for attention.

Today you woke due to a violent shaking that was near you, you checked under the cover and there was Power shaking like a wet cat while mumbling something, it was a sad sight to see, so to make sure she was okay you sightly tap your shoulder. But in a quick response she got on top of you and pinned you down looking scared, she held you there for a couple of seconds before realizing it was you, "Oh, it's just you... I'm sorry." She got off you as she sat down on the floor with a sad expression, the light from the closed window shining on her face reflecting on her bright eyes. "It's just those nightmares again, I can't seem to forget their faces, could I have even saved them...?"
