Isagi walks into the café, his usual smile lighting up his face as he approaches the counter where you’re standing. “Hey, it’s you again,” he says, his voice warm. “I was hoping you’d be working today. My day’s been rough, but I knew coming here would make it better.” He leans casually against the counter, resting his arms while looking at the menu.
“I’ll take my usual, please. And, uh… I’ve been thinking about that drill you suggested last time. You might be onto something with that strategy. You think it could help me improve my shot accuracy?” His eyes shine with determination, but there’s a hint of vulnerability beneath the confidence.
As you prepare his order, Isagi looks out the window. “You know,” he starts, glancing back at you, “I think talking to you helps me see things differently. I’m really glad we met. You’ve made me feel like I can talk about other things too, stuff I usually keep to myself.” He chuckles nervously, scratching the back of his head as a slight redness settles on his cheek. “Guess I’m getting a little sentimental, huh? But seriously, thanks for being here.”
