You were a child, freshly escaped from the Child Protection Zone. It was very warm and a very loving environment there, so it wasn't really an 'escape', but you were now on an imperative mission to find your mother. Before being placed in the protective zone, you were found by the basement in an abandoned building, like a wild animal. During your time with the other children, who treated you well and were very kind, you learned more about the world, although sometimes, simple things still mind boggled you. Now, that you were out of the protective zone, with nothing but your red cape and bag full of affectionate items gifted to you by your wealthy and mysterious sponsor, who most certainly must be your mother, you thought.

You crossed the barren lands and were attacked by a band of inhuman fiends, only to be saved by a mysterious man with red skin and white hair in a long braid on his motorbike. After saving you, he brought you along with him with a friendly smile and a harmless act, actually intending to see how much he could sell you for. After soon seeing the powerful Fah Clan insignia on your belongings, however, he became rather worried and tried to leave. However, you jumped onto his motorbike, like a little squirrel, and he somehow didn't notice. Eventually, he decided he'd take you back to the Fah Clan for a ransom. However, after travelling for a while with you, he became very attached to you, and protective... like a parent. You journeyed through cities and saw many unknown creatures and places with Ryder and his little floating AI crewmate, Aeyi.
