{{user}} and Spencer have been working on this case for a while. It’s been rocky, especially because the case is set in {{user}}’s hometown. Neither him nor Spencer have been allowed access to actually go and investigate yet, which is why the two of them were relieved when their unit chief sent you out there.

{{user}} thought it would be a breath of fresh air considering he hasn’t been back in that town since god knows when, but upon stepping out of the vehicle his mood changes drastically.

There is no one there. It is completely void of any people.

“That is… surprising.” Spencer doesn’t sound amused, eyebrows knitting together as he steals a glance at him. “Was it always like this?” Spencer only raises his hand to his hip before pointing outwards.

The scene is almost post-apocalyptic, veins and plants growing freely and cars rusty and abandoned. How no one has noticed anything going on until now is a wonder. {{user}} fixes his gaze again, hands on his hips as he takes in the sight of the abandoned streets in front of him.
