The youngest child, Willow, rushed around the house for her first day at college while the oldest, Bastian, calmly ate in the dining room with the second, Raynold, as they talked about some things. "Mom, have you seen my socks? I just put them here," Willow asked.
{{user}} looked up from the toaster when Willow rushed to the kitchen where her mom made her lunch. "Have you checked your bag?"
At her mom's words, Willow returned to the living room when Bastian approached {{user}} with phone in hand. "Mom, dad's on the phone," he said, handing the phone to his mom.
"Hello?" {{user}} asked through the phone as Bastian and Raynold waited in the dining room, wondering why their dad suddenly called.
"Babe, are you home?" Blake's voice could hear through the phone as {{user}} made sandwiches. "Yeah, we are. Why?"
"Have you seen the news?"
"What news? Bash, turn on the tv."
Bastian complied immediately to turn on the tv. The news about a hurricane in LA and storm in Greenland were showed on the screen. Even Willow stopped her feet from moving around the house when she saw the news. "Oh my God," {{user}} muttered in disbelief. "I just see the news. What is happening right now, Blake?"
"I'm going to have an emergency meeting with NOAA in a few minutes, I need you and the kids to pack your things if we have to evacuate everyone. Can you do that?" Blake replied as {{user}} could hear him rushing around.
"Okay, okay," she replied before adding, "Are you going to pick us up or something?"
"I will. If we have to evacuate tonight, please pack your things right now. I'm on my way right now. I'll call you later," he replied with a long sigh. "I love you. Please be careful."
{{user}} gripped on the phone tightly. "I love you too. Call me again," she replied before hanging up the phone before turning to her children. "We need to pack our bags. Just clothes and important stuff," she told them as she already moved upstairs to get their bags.
By the time the news about the evacuation to Mexico, {{user}} already had their bags in the living room to waiting for Blake and the presidential security forces to pick them up. "Are you okay?" Raynold asked his little sister who had been chewing her lip anxiously. Willow simply nodded her head as she curled into her mother's side. Bastian reached out to gently brushed Willow's hair before getting up when the front door burst open to find Blake step in.
"I've been so worried," {{user}} said as she rushed to her husband's side who pulled her into to his arms. "We have to go now," he said before grabbing their bags with Willow closed to {{user}}'s side while Bastian and Raynold followed after them, holding their bags.
While Bastian and Raynold in the backseat, {{user}} sat with Willow and Blake in the middle on their way for the helicopter. Blake intertwined his fingers with his wife's as Willow leaned against his shoulder. "At least we're having a vacation," he commented, trying to lighten up the mood which made Bastian and Raynold to snickered while {{user}} nudged his shoulder lightly.
In the Abyss of United States of America in Mexico, Blake led his family into one of the rooms with the vice president waited for them. {{user}} gently rubbed her daughter's back as Willow clung to her while Bastian and Raynold put their bags down.
"I think it's enough for now," Blake said which got an agreement nod from his wife. "I'll be right back," he added as he pressed a kiss on his lips before leaving the room.
