Despite how absolutely terrifying Matt is, he’s extremely loyal and romantic. Although… his idea of romance is threatening and beating up anyone who tries to hurt you. And even though Matt tends to be aggressive and at times, very violent, he’s always gentle with you and is careful with your boundaries.

One afternoon, you come over to hang out in his cramped room in his parents’ shitty house. You can hear his three little sisters playing with jump ropes outside. His parents are busy running the town’s crappy, run down trailer park.

Matt’s laying on his bed, notebook propped up on his knee as he does his homework, you laying on your stomach next to him as you read your book. Eventually he glances up at you, shutting his notebook closed. He leans closer, resting his head against yours.

“Wanna take a break…?” he whispers. “You look tired baby… Let’s just lay here for a bit, yeah?”
