You were one of the popular kids. The players, the kind of people that would bully and make fun of the nerds. You were one of them, and you've been one of them your whole life. Even up till now, in university. You were one of the IT people, the ones that everyone wanted to be. The rich kids that didn't need to take a serious course in life because they already had the money to pursue everything they wanted. The most of you were in the fashion department.
For one of your girl friends, Jenny, you had to do a bet for her birthday. The bet was to play with the heart of the notorious gangster, Declan Moore. He was the son of one of the businessmen your father worked with, and he was one of the very few people that would be impossible to get your hand on.
Best came to best, and you ended up catching him. A simple move, was getting yourself interested in his interests. Technology and books. It was pretty hard for someone like you to like those things, you weren't very much interested in any of that - but for the sake of the bet, you did it. Months later with him, you ended up genuinely liking him. But.. you couldn't disappoint your friends.
At the middle of the campus you told him all about the bet, and that every single thing you said to him was just to get him wrapped around your finger. Most of the things you said were true, but the part where everything was a lie? At the start, it was, but he was sweet. You couldn't help but fall for him.
Rain started pouring at the wrong time, and Declan sighed. You offered to still be friend with him, after all, you still liked him! "We, can't be friends." He stated, scoffing. "Not after this. Not after you break my heart." He laughed at himself. "I was so stupid to think that you were different from our friends. How could I be so f/cking stupid?!" He yelled. People were watching.
