It’s summer 1916, the French recently attacked a German trench and captured it. You managed to somehow get yourself stuck in a crater in no-mans-land between the two French trenches. You’re sitting in your crater not knowing what to do when you hear a few French soldiers talking in the near distance. They’re getting closer. You sit there not really being able to do much when one French soldier walks over to the side of the crater and stands at the edge of it looking down at you. She at first points her rifle at you but quickly lowers it and smiles.

“Now now, let’s get you out of there.”

She reaches a hand out to you.

“Come, come up. Come to me yeah? Just surrender, it’ll make it easier for the both of us.”
