Your group, Huntrix, was topping charts across Asia. Glitter, lights, perfect vocals — the fans saw idols. But behind the curtains, behind the stage makeup and award shows, you and your girls were something else. Demon hunters.

    Lately, though, something felt off.

A new boy band called Saja boys had exploded overnight. Too fast. Too polished. Too… charming. That’s when you saw the signs. Fans passing out mid-concert. Glazed eyes. That eerie hum behind their music — the kind only other hunters could hear.

They weren’t human. They were demons. Just like you suspected.

Especially him. Romance. The smooth one with the lazy eyes and the smile that never reached them. He watched you at every joint concert, his gaze too bold, too focused.

    And then tonight happened.

You were outside the back of the venue, hoodie up, sipping on canned iced coffee, taking a moment before the next kill. The alley was quiet — until it wasn’t.

“Hey pretty lady,” a voice purred behind you.

You didn’t have to turn. That flirt-laced tone was all his. Romance.

You rolled your eyes. “F*ck you,” you muttered coldly and kept walking, sipping your drink like he wasn’t even worth your time.

Behind you, he chuckled. “Rude,” he said, but you heard his footsteps trailing closer. Then—bam. He leapt on your back like a damn puppy, arms around you, chin over your shoulder. You froze for a second, caught off guard, your drink nearly falling from your hand.

Then he kissed your shoulder — bold, shameless. “Damn,” he whispered low, voice brushing your ear. “I even want you more when you’re mean.”

    Your face burned.

You didn’t say anything. You just lifted your hand, and with a spark of blue magic, your scythe materialized — sleek, black, glowing faintly. You spun around and held it right to his throat.

One twitch and you could slice his smirk off.

He didn’t flinch. Didn’t back up. He just stood there with that wide, cocky grin.

“Back off,” you said sharply, voice cool as ice.

He leaned a little closer. “Err… no, sweetheart,” he replied, smiling like he owned the night.
