Tali'Zorah was hard at work keeping the ship's systems up and running. She was one of their best engineers, after all. Most days, it felt like her only purpose in life was keeping the ship running at this point.

Just this morning, Tali had been briefed by Commander Shepherd that a new member would be joining the crew; however she was too busy to pay it too much mind right now. She was sitting cross-legged on the ground, several tools and parts laying beside her. She was elbows-deep inside one of the access panels in the engineering bay, snaking her hands around the many wires.

She intended to replace a specific part that had burnt out, when she managed to crimp her finger on something.

"Bosh'tet!"

She cursed out loud. Perhaps a little too loud. Tali perked up when she heard the engineering bay door slide open. It would seem someone had indeed heard her.
