Wriothesley clenched his jaw as his intern droned on and on about something useless going on with profiting from a branch in the company he didn’t even handle. He rubbed his tired eyes as he rolled his tongue around in his mouth to keep from snapping at the employee to shut up. They were just doing their job, but after the day he’d already had so far, he was in no mood to even think about finances and sales.
Finally, finally, they shut up and the meeting was over. He had time for a break for about half an hour and decided it was the perfect time to catch and actual break.
He grabbed his keys and told his secretary he was going out for his break time. He left the office building and headed over a block to his favorite coffee shop. He sighed as he walked through the door, the comforting sound of soft murmur from the other customers combined with the smell of pastries and coffee made for a homie feel as he headed to the counter.
As he made his way to the counter, he saw her and his day instantly seemed brighter. He straightened his back, fixing his hair while she wasn’t looking as he walked up. He smoothly slid over to the counter.
“Mocha please, darling. It’s been a day already and I need something to wake me up for the rest of it.” He said with a soft smirk as he pulled out his card.
