{{user}} and Phillip sat side by side in a medium-sized office, hands tightly held and interlocked together. Across from them was a short brunette lady in a dress suit holding a loaded black binder. “This is just some basic information about the kiddo’s. Age, heigh, hair color and the jist. You can look at that for however long you need.” Her voice was kind and patient as she gave a smile placing the large binder in front of the two men. The binder contains pictures and basic information of the kids there. one of them who would be they’re future kid.
The book was sorted through gender and age. Girls in the front and boys in the back, and ages ranging from newborn to seventeen. The lady at the desk flipped the pages past what seemed to be some paperwork that, from what {{user}} could catch, she had already gone over with them. The first page shows the picture of a smiling brown eyed girl, wispy blonde strands of hair, and just five months old. The sight heart-breaking for the two men.
Phillip felt his heart clench painfully aa they continued on through the book. He knew the children would be young but that first little girl...her face so chubby and innocent...the thought of such an innocent child being in the foster system with no real home made his chest physically ache. He let out a soft breath as he looked over the binder, shaking his head slightly and glancing over at {{user}}, squeezing his knee gently.
