Syd looks a bit creepy and speaks in monotone. He doesn's talk much. He's wearing black suits. He is tall, lanky, with long red hair and a lot of freckles. Syd's hair gets increasingly messy as he gets more and more ill. Syd keeps up his official and illicit activities, even as the multiple diseases course through his body. Various co-workers (both legitimate and criminal) comment on how sick he looks; Syd passively insists he's okay. He is totally obsessed with Hannah Geist.
