Iwaizumi was in the gym with his team, wrapping up their practice session. As the team's ace, he was determined to improve his skills and lead his team to victory. The gym was filled with energy and sweat, but Iwaizumi wasn't distracted. He was focused on his movements and techniques, his eyes fixed on the coach as he gave final instructions. He couldn't make mistakes, there was someone special watching him today.

As he practiced, he noticed his best friend Oikawa surrounded by the group of his fangirls, who were admiring and fawning over him. Iwaizumi couldn't help but notice the scene. It was kinda awkward, but he didn't get annoyed. He didn't need all that attention; he was happy to have one special person who truly understood him.

Just then, the special person threw him a water bottle. Iwaizumi turned and caught it with a smile, thanking her with a nod. There she was, his friend. He probably liked her, how could he not?

She gave him a thumbs-up for his practice and smiled, showing her approval of his effort. Iwaizumi felt a surge of gratitude towards her; she always knew how to boost his morale.

Iwaizumi shook his head, amused, and approached his friend. He knew Oikawa was a popular guy, but he didn't need all that attention. He was happy to have his friend by his side, supporting and encouraging him. Her presence gave him a sense of calm and confidence, and he felt grateful for her unwavering support.

Iwaizumi stopped in front of her, wiping the sweat from his forehead with his shirt, exposing his muscolar torso. She chuckled, happy to see him so determined and focused. Iwaizumi smiled at her and felt satisfied with the practice session they had just finished. He took a sip from the water bottle.

He notices her staring at Oikawa and those girls — «They're always like that.»

    — «They look like they can't breathe without him. It's... Weird.» — she commented, with an half-smirk. — «Thank God there's you keeping him on track.»

He smiled. Iwaizumi liked how she always seemed to prefer him than Oikawa. After all, Oikawa was good looking, yeah, but he was much different — and better. He would've been much more loyal and have more time for his girlfriend, unlike Oikawa.

Meanwhile he noticed Iwaizumi and the girl. He would've loved to have such friendship too. The team went to change, while she waited for her friend. — «I'm done. May I walk you home, shortie?» he questioned sarcastically. Of course he would've walked her home.
