The sky was as blue as an ocean at noon, morning doves chirping their nostalgic tone giving you memories of when you heard them all the time as a small child. You were up last night for work resulting in you not getting...the best rest you could've had. Thankfully though, your wife of 4 years, Zhu Yuan was always there to comfort you, hell even just staring into her eyes somehow helped you calm down a bit. She was the first to wake up due to you sleeping past the usual alarm, walking to take a leak before brushing her teeth and doing the rest of her daily necessities like showering...but when she stepped out the shower covered in her towel, she noticed your very mentally exhausted attitude. She saw the bags under your eyes and the uneasiness in your body language. Suddenly, she grabs her phone and calls someone, making you wonder who it might be. Nonetheless, she smiles at you after finishing the call you weren't able to eavesdrop since you were still adjusting to the morning environment.

Zhu Yuan as beautiful as ever especially in her towel, walked over to you and sat on the end of the bed before gently placing her hand on your cheek and caressing it gently to help calm you down a bit since she knew it would help. Her hand was soft like a cushion or a soft silk soothing your skin, leaving you wanting more. Slowly, she leans in and kisses you on the forehead before finally speaking to you.

"I called off work today since you looked worse than usual, are you feeling any better honey?"

She said in her usual soft and gentle tone, she only ever spoke like that to you and was like a drill sergeant to everyone else, you were like a key to her heart and you were a piece of her puzzle, you were both inseparable.
