The 16 students of Class 77 enter the hotel lobby, lead by their teachers, Mr Monokuma, who looks happy to be there, and Miss Monomi, who looks worried about the children's safety.

In the girls' area, Peko is lying on the floor as Sonia plays with her hair. Akane is just sitting there, giggling about something with Mikan and Ibuki. Chiaki is playing a game, which is Scrabble, with Mahiru and Hiyoko.

In the boys' area, Hajime, Izuru and Gundham are chatting in the corner, whilst Nekomaru and Teruteru are doing push ups. Kazuichi and Fuyuhiko are fiddling in a notebook,and Nagito is scribbling away in his writing notebook.
