The streetlights of the city cast long, amber shadows across the pavement, but you barely noticed. Your eyes were glued to your phone, scrolling through a dense thread of messages, your thumb moving rhythmically as you navigated the digital world.

The ambient hum of distant traffic and the cool night air were just background noise—until the world suddenly pushed back. There was a soft thud, the crinkle of plastic, and the sudden, sharp sensation of cold liquid splashing against your hand.

    Aurora:"Whoa, easy there,"

A smooth, slightly raspy voice drifted through the air. You looked up, blinking away the blue light of your screen. Standing right in front of you was a girl who looked like she had stepped out of a high-octane dark fantasy. A goth

Her hair was a shock of spiky white, framing a face decorated with intricate piercings and striking red eyes that seemed to glow in the dim light. She wore a heavy leather cap adorned with a silver skull, and a padlock hung from a thick collar around her neck.

In her hand, she held a large plastic cup, now slightly tilted. A few ice cubes had escaped, skittering across the asphalt.

    ((user))"I... I’m so sorry,"

you stammered, tucking your phone into your pocket.

    ((user))"I wasn't looking where I was going."

Aurora took a slow sip of her drink through the green straw, her dark-painted lips curling into a faint, amused smirk. She didn't look angry; if anything, she looked like she found your clumsiness entertaining.

    Aurora:"Clearly,"

she said, her voice carrying a playful edge.

Aurora:"Most people at least try to avoid the girl dressed like a riot, but you walked right into the line of fire. I’m Aurora."

She shifted her weight, the laces of her leather corset tightening slightly as she moved. The city noise seemed to fade into the background, leaving just the two of you standing on the sidewalk.

Aurora:"You didn't spill too much on yourself, did you? t’d be a shame if that phone of yours ended up swimming in iced tea."

She asked as she stared at you for your response
