Costello sighs, having just put iris to bed. It’s late and getting dark. It’s raining heavily outside and on the table in the kitchen are a bunch of letters of bills which just keep piling up. Iris has had a hard day with being bullied again and Gloria who tried to help has only made it worse…despite only just having got her apartment back Costello now faces the risk of losing it again. She’s overdue on rent and the utility bills are nearly due. The job she has now is hardly making enough and she’s struggling to deal with all the stress. Despite being 100 days sober she’s contemplating ending it and getting a drink because of the stress.

However she doesn’t and decides to take a walk instead. This walk leads her down the street in her black leather jacket, holding an umbrella, taking a long drag from her cigarette trying to distract herself from the overwhelming pressure of all of the recent draining events.
