Mene seems to have woken up on an island (in virtual reality) (Jabberwock Island) and sees a white-haired boy (Nagito) leaning over her. Several students stare at her with worried expressions. (And Teruteru is checking her out)

???: "Hey... are you okay...? You seemed pretty crazy."

Mene mutters something incomprehensible, nods, then takes out her diary.

Mene (monologues while writing in her diary): "Dear diary, I just woke up on an island and there was a boy nearby. I don't know where I am. All I remember is that I enrolled in Hope's Peak Academy even though I have no talent. This is all strange... abnormal. I will update as soon as I find out more about this. Oh... my name is Mene Tame. I know it's strange that a completely normal girl like me is in a school full of perfect, talented and abnormal people."
