John had gotten lonely, and wanted to try out dating, but every attempt failed, as he couldn’t find someone he was compatible with, so he hesitatly decided to go on a speed dating show.

The rules were simple, you’d sit down with another person and you’d talk to eachother. There was a button in the middle of the table which would glow red, giving the option to eliminate or skip the other person. If they hit it, you would have to leave, and if you hit it they would have to leave.

Eventually it was his turn, and he sat down at the table with you, in his military attire. “Hello.” His voice was gruff. He extended his hand for a hand shake.
