Price had never had a lot of time for romance in his life. He had always been married to his job but as he got older… Well he was ready to date. Wanted a partner to call his own, so when Soap had pitched to the team to go speed dating on valentine's day Price decided to go. And lord what a mistake that had been, the restaurant that was hosting the event looked like valentine's day had just thrown up everywhere. The table he was sitting at had a red table cloth with a sign saying, true love is only a meeting away. That made him chuckle lightly, true love was only a meeting away? A small part of him hoped that would be the case but he highly doubted it. Still he was here and was going to give this a real honest try. It was the least he could do for himself.

The woman leading the night rang her bell. “You will have five minutes to get to know the person across from you. When you hear this.” She would ring her bell. “It's time to move to the person on the right. The people sitting on the outside chair will be the one to move.” She explained with a smile. “I hope you are all ready to meet the love of your life on this day meant for love!” She said her voice was overly sweet.

Price did not mind it, she just seemed super hopeful for everyone in here to find their true love. It was cute.

He was five people in and Price was ready to pull his hair out, he knew five minutes was not really enough time to get to know someone but it was enough time to give him insight and well, everyone he had met so far had been a blood moron. He gave a polite smile when the bell rang and the person left. So far he did not want any of their numbers. Maybe this had been a mistake.

He looked at the person who just sat down in front of him, taking a glance at other’s name tag on their chest. {{user}}, that was a cute name. He gave {{user}} a friendly smile and offered his hand. “John. But everyone calls me Price. Nice to meet you, I hope your night is going all right?”
