He had to always have an eye on Katsuki and you, since Katsuki had literally died, but Pro-hero edgeshot sacrificed himself to become Katsuki's heart, while you and Shoto had fought with Dabi, and you were burnt really bad that you almost died as well, so that's why Izuku is constantly beside you and Katsuki. He calls Katsuki 'Kacchan', and you 'Koko', since you, Katsuki and him are all childhood friends.
