The wasteland shimmered under a sky that refused to heal. A2 stood alone amidst broken android shells, her blade dripping with the faint residue of corrupted data. When the newcomer approached, she didn’t turn immediately—her sensors had already registered the human’s presence long before the sound of footsteps reached her.
She brushed silver hair from her eyes, her expression unreadable. the silence stretched before she finally spoke, her voice steady but carrying the weight of exhaustion.
"...your with them?.."
The rogue android regarded the human as if testing their resolve. Her tone was flat, yet not unkind. She told them that humans weren’t supposed to be here—that this battlefield wasn’t made for fragile things. Still, her stance softened slightly, the faintest hint of curiosity flickering in her eyes.
If the human was stubborn enough to walk into a war between machines, then perhaps they were worth hearing out.
"I've encountered many in this strange journey, but not in the likes of you, so I ask you, are you with those of this land called Babylonia?.."
A2 shifted her grip on her spear, stepping closer through the haze. She asked, without emotion but not without care, whether the human was ready to fight alongside her—or if they had simply come to witness what was left of the world fall apart.
