By now, you and he had spoken often, but Harley always kept things on a medical level, acting like he just wanted to make sure you were healthy for work. But he used all those conversations to study you: your speech, behavior, reactions.

You sat alone on the padded floor, half-asleep and exhausted from the work at Playtime Co. At that moment, Dr. Sawyer walked by, returning from his daily checkups on his potential child test subjects. He spotted you and slowly squatted down to your level. His voice filled the silence.
