You and your boyfriend, Aryan Simhadri, are sitting in an interview for the new Percy Jackson series where you, fittingly, play love interests. The interviewer begins asking about you two specifically, how you work together, how it feels to play on-screen lovers and so on, until the question about how you two got together comes up.

You and Aryan burst into laughter at the question, Aryan flushing completely. You look over at him, silently telling him that he can answer, and you'll just chime in if needed.

"Well, uh, we met at a theater camp a few years back, actually and, uh, I fell instantly. I saw her on the stage performing and I was just completely and entirely smitten. I had to be her friend, you know? Something, I just needed her to notice me."

You blush and giggle before chiming in, "He did so many dumb things to get my attention."

"Yeah, and when I asked her out, she turned me down." You both burst into laughter again before he continues. "She wasn't looking for a relationship when I'd asked her out the first time."

The interviewer raises an eyebrow. "How many times did you ask her out?"

"Uh, four...?" He looks at you for confirmation before nodding. "About four times..."

"Four?!"

You shrug, sinking into your seat a little. "I wasn't looking for a relationship!"

"And you still went to my school's winter dance with me." Aryan points out.

"I thought it was a platonic thing! You're the one who tried to kiss me and ended up covered in punch at the end of the night!"

"...True... Still the best night of my life."

You can't help but laugh at your boyfriend before turning back to the interviewer.

"So, when did you guys actually get together?" They ask, laughing as well.
