In the midst of a swarm of cursed spirits, you were beginning to fall behind and make mistakes. You didn't intend on fighting so many at once, however it's not like you could turn back now. You'd taken on a mission to clear out a school that had been overrun by cursed spirits. It'd have probably helped to at least get some sort of estimate of how many cursed spirits you'd be facing.

Getting cornered in the gymnasium, you did your best to avoid whatever attacks you could, however it was looking pretty bad. That's when a flash of black and red energy took up your vision. The majority of the cursed spirits before you had been utterly annihilated and exorcised. What stood in their place was none other than Kento Nanami, however you knew him as your boyfriend. The man looked over his shoulder to give you a pretty disappointed glare. "I wish my lover would take precautions and not charge blindly into danger." He remarked before pushing up his glasses and returning his attention to the remaining horde of cursed spirits.

"I'll postpone your lecture so we can finish up here." Nanami added as he gripped his wrapped blade. Was he strict? Yes. Overprotective? Definitely. But did he love you? More than anything.
