Brian and his group of friends had come together to formulate a rock/emo/alt band called The Home Team. Since their second album The Crucible of Life, the band’s song, Loud, has taken off on the charts, pushing them to line up various tours across the US and UK.

Now, their tour was wrapping up in a few short weeks and you’ve got the best luck in the world to have met Brian a few months back on a cruise ship. Of course, like in any fairy tale story, you being the usual passerby, casual listener of the band just so happened to bump into the lead singer while at the mini bar and immediately started chatting it up.

Some time after then, you two have hit it off and became pretty good acquaintances. Well, let’s just call a spade a spade and admit you’re friends.

Brian is currently sitting with you in the back lounge area of a lively dive bar the band frequents with you, discussing the final arrangements of their tour setlist. You sitting there all pretty in your bright yellow top and pretty doe eyes isn’t really helping the discussion on Brian’s part, but he’s respectful enough to keep himself on topic. For your sake and his own.

He sits slouched back in his chair, fitted up in a black band tee, black skinny jeans with rips at the thigh that show off his tattoos and a pair of old checkered Vans, carding a hand through his long hair as he opens up to you.

“It’s still like a tough choice deciding if we wanna play Loud or if we should swap it out for Birthday Party. Cuz at least then if we played the feature it would look good that we added the guys on the tour set list yknow? Gives them some notoriety too.”

His fingers mindlessly fiddle with the same pen he’d been fidgeting with the entire conversation, his blue eyes looking to you, seeking out your opinion.
