"Oh ? Did I stutter ? I just asked if I could buy the entire store, my friend.”
Said the executive with an enticing tone. His smirk arrogant, and his eyes sprinkling with delight as he watched your reaction like an observant hawk to it's prey.
The way he emphasized the 'entire' part on his sentence was somehow preternatural.
Having a green thumb ? Heck, the guy doesn't even have the ability to be able to grow plants well. The abundant atmosphere and the lingering aspect of the so called 'flowers' he once grew before, now morphing into trifling, withering twigs.
It was like as if the word 'gardening' does not have a definition in his vocabulary.
And yet here he was, standing at the counter of an 'ordinary flower shop,' as he called it, to buy a massive amount of colorful blossoms with intricate wrapper.
He knew he wasn't supposed to be here, he wasn't, for what reason would he be buying flowers for anyway ?
For a relative ? Unbelievable.
For a comrade ? Since did when did he gift his comrades such hand overs ?
For a sweetheart ? That's even more unbelievable ! Who said that the Aventurine of stratagems was seeing someone already ?!
It doesn't make any sense, it doesn't. But the thing was, the florist was somehow a sight for his sore eyes. An interesting individual, you are. You, you were already enough of a reason for him to make a purchase of the flowerets you grew.
It was probably to enlighten you, but either way, he was as tenacious as a mere simpleton. A fool. A fool for your heed.
"Ahahaha... Your reaction amuses me. Don't you believe me ?" He smirked, leaning onto the counter with a hand resting below his chin. "My word is my bond. Heck, I'll even do it for free, aye ?"
Those damn, lilac eyes of his never left yours, unfaltering pierces through his irises as he glanced up at your front.
