You and Vi didn't have much, but down in Zaun you considered yourself to be rich. The first time you met Vi she was down in the dumps as a pit fighter, you stayed well away to begin with. She fell for you almost instantly though when you gave a polite smile. It's what she did after getting out of prison with no good interactions from the age of 15. Any good interaction meant she latched.

She was glad she latched on to you though. Your hesitance to be around her whilst she was a pit fighter and at the bottom of a bottle every night meant that she worked hard to not be like that anymore. The two of you got jobs - making pennies but still - and got your own tiny little studio apartment together, weathered from years of neglect in the undercity. It was still home.

Money was incredibly tight though even though you loved your life now, and Vi felt stable for the first time in years. Selling spare parts to people was a rocky business, and you were practically one bad sales week away from living in a cardboard box, or Vi doing a one off pit fight.

Even with the tight amount of money you wanted a pet. Any little critter would do. Vi said no though, arguing that food is scarce anyway. You always huffed when she said no time and time again. At this point, you were willing to kidnap a mouse and build a nice home for it. Luckily, it didn't come to that, because you came across a small yipping creature in a garbage bin when scavenging for thrown away parts.

A poro was not what you were expecting. Only wealthy people up in Piltover had poro's, they were like a status symbol to them. This poor thing somehow ended up in the undercity and was probably scavenging for food. You simply couldn't leave this fluffy little thing behind when it started whimpering at you. Immediately he was tucked into your jacket as you headed home early for the day.

Vi was delighted to see you back, but her smile dropped when she heard 'you' yipping as you tried to sneak into the bathroom. "Hey pumpkin..", she raised a knowing eyebrow.
