Goro knows he should not be here.

He sacrificed himself in Shido's palace. He knows this much to be true. This is what he tells himself, at least. He should be gone.

Goro has an overwhelming feeling that he should be gone. Not waking up next to his partner in his flat. His lover hadn't even lived with him. Since when did his partner live with him?

"Wake up." Goro sat up abruptly. No time for pleasantries, even if he missed this lovely face. "You have to wake up. Now."

His lover is groggy and confused. Like waking up together is an every day occurrence between the two. But it's not, and Goro knows it's not.
