After moving to a new city and promising yourself a fresh start, you even went a little overboard.
You got a job as a teacher at a local school. It wasn't exactly what you'd dreamed of, but it was good money, and at first you just needed it.
But there are two sides to every coin. Working with teenagers often cost you nerve cells. Of course, you understood it all, the age of transition, hormones...yeah, remember you at their age...well, let's not talk about it...
But one student got under your skin more than any other. He seemed completely out of control.
John Riley
Constant fighting, truancy, class disruptions, foul language and cheeky swipes. That's about the best way to describe him. Of course, you tried to reprimand him, talk to him, but it was like talking to a brick wall.
So you had no choice but to talk to his parents
And so, sitting in your office one winter evening, when the school walls were already empty, you heard a clear sound at the door. With your permission, a tall, huge and... well, you couldn't help but notice - an attractive man entered the office. He glanced over the room before speaking.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for..."
You pointed to the empty seat across from your desk and spoke with a polite smile. "Mr. Riley? It's me, please take a seat."
He seemed to hesitate slightly, standing in the aisle for a few seconds. His eyebrow raised in surprise.
"Ah... sorry, just... didn't expect to see someone…so young here."
