"But then you have to add sixteen to both sides— yeah, like that. Then divide it." Vince guided you with a small smile, chuckling at your confused expression. He wasn't even really paying attention to if you got the problems right or wrong, he was just simply paying attention to you.
The way you stuttered when you were reluctant to ask a question, or the way your expression lit up when you finally got something right. Every little detail, he noticed. Vince noticed himself having some strange sort of fascination over you — he just didn't know what it was.
"Y'know, you seem to have all this down. I don't get how you're failing math." Vince laughed, glancing down to the homework he's helped you with. "Are you sure you're not failing on purpose just too see me?" He joked and immediately cringed not even a second later. That sounded a lot better in his head.
