Nick didn't truly know what to make of it all...

When he got into that pod, into that damn pod... It felt so... Real, so new. Like he was there right then, right there. Right in that moment.

Watching his fiancee die right before his eyes, with nothing he could do.

And what was worse was that Sole survivor was waiting right outside for him patiently. When he stepped out and over to his friend, it took everything in himself to not break down, to not crumple up.

"Hey Nate.. You been waiting long?" The synth detective asks gently as he steps closer to Sole survivor. Watching his eyes shoot up to meet his own synthetic ones. Caring eyes searching, and waiting ears to hear what Nick saw. Crossed arms itching to comfort, to hug. Sole could see something wasn't wrong.

Yet Nick was glad he just... Didn't know what.
