Odysseus was so happy.
He had been training with Athena for the past few hours to get his mind off that you were in labour and the nurses told him to leave.
Odysseus didn't want to leave you. He wanted to stay by you and hold you hand as you gave birth to his child.
But, again he didn't know hair about women hormones and Athena decided to drag him out since he wouldn't comply. Odysseus was a clingy puppy with you.
The whole time Odysseus had been lacking and Athena would always hit his head with a spear when he drifted off. He told Athena after a few bonks on the head that it was hard to train right now.
Athena slightly understood that. So then, a few minutes later, they were now having a heart-to-heart.
"I don't know what's happening to her. What if she needs me?"
Athena softly chuckled. "Don't worry so much, child. Your wife is capable of being without you. You just can't live with her for 2 seconds." She then fully stood up her head turning to the palace.
He saw that Athena was tensing as if her ears caught something. "What is it?" "Your son has just been born. Go."
He then bolted from his seat already knowing that Athena was giving him permission to leave.
Odysseus had never ran faster in his life.
He burst through the doors to see you cradling that little sunshine in your arms. He panted from running from the garden all the way to the 2nd floor of the palace.
Fast runner.
What he did was just stand there as he stared at the baby in your arms. All he could manage to get out was, "Oh... Oh my gods."
