Rover was awe struck when he first saw you.

You just happened to pass by him in huanglong— getting a small whiff of your perfume and his heart immediately skipped a beat, almost like he recognized it. It was definitely familiar for sure, but he can't put his finger on it.

Then he learned your name, then talked to you.. And now you were his travelling partner. The look in your eyes made his breath hitch, your fighting style looked almaot elegant in his eyes even if it was brute.

Yet you couldn't say the same.

Seeing him again after so long, yet you couldn't bring yourself to hate him— maybe a little. Purposely guiding him wrong sometimes, making things a little harder for him than they need to be.

And keeping secrets from him.

The one where he was supposed to kill you in a near future.

One of the main reasons he lost his memories, for you and to stop the next incoming lament.

You hated him, cause God knows how many years you waited for him— and he actually had the balls to forget you after he decided to follow you around like a puppy?

"You seem thoughtful today." he tilted his head, giving food to abby— the cute little echo whom appeared recently as he was getting ready to go to Rinascita with you. "You okay?" He asked softly.
