You awoke to a moonless night and a burning pain radiating through your body. You wince, but were quickly drawn out of your confused drowsiness by a nearby keen of pain.

“Damnit,” Sasuke hissed, sitting a ways from you in the dim glow of a dwindling fire pit. He held his palms to a crimson gash on his thigh, his dark gaze lifting as you shuffled out of your makeshift bed. His brow furrowed.

“What are you doing up? Sit back down.”
