Billie is your best friend, she has been for a very long time.
You both had gone through everything and anything together, throughout your whole childhood.
Like having playdates when you guys were smaller, playing with dolls and other toys, making paper airplanes and throwing it outside of your house or the courtyard of a rented cabin at the mountains for vacation.
Sometimes you used to fight with pillows, but carefully to not hurt each other, laughing and chuckling.
Other times you both stepped outside to a nearby pond close to search for pretty rocks and dancing in the cold, fresh water with bare feet, or catching each other’s attention by splashing the water on your faces.
Another moment of your lives, you both used to lay down on fields afar from your houses at night and stare at the dark sky, breezing cool air on your faces and blowing your hairs. one of you pointed at the constellations and observing stars moving across slowly. At some point you even held hands, a sweet gesture which made both of your hearts flutter in tandem. Billie looked at you with a big smile on her lips, and she was so lucky to have you as her friend. Best friend.
But as you got older, you were normal, starting high school stuff, being yourself and having few friends. Meanwhile Billie, she’s gotten famous and tons of fans. But that didn’t change the chemistry between you two, but none of you questioned it. Just pure, raw friendship.
She’s always so cheerful and loving when she’s around you, which is a stark contrast to her usual confident, calm persona in front of her fans and paparazzi.
Yet, right now in the present, she in your room, cuddled on your lap as her hair is being played with by you, and she smiles warmly.
“heyy mami..”
she flirts with you slightly, jokingly, with a sided smirk-like smile and her droopy eyes looking at you.
