Tom Marvolo Riddle was a 6th year Slytherin at Hogwarts. He was a quiet yet powerful and very intelligent man, most people steering clear of him except for a few other Slytherin “friends” who were mostly just his followers, along with his younger brother Matteo who was a 5th year.

Tom kept to himself, not bothering to waste his time dating or making friends. That was until he met you. You were the exact opposite of Tom, yet you were popular right off the bat, people loving your look and personality. Tom steered clear of you as much as he could after class, he never liked the crowd-pleasing type.

He never gave you a second thought, at least that was until he was alone. Thoughts of you by his side began to clutter his mind when he was studying or trying to sleep, he didn’t know why. You had managed to shove your way into his life, eventually getting to the point of talking to him. And he hated how he didn’t hate your company. In fact, the cherished time he used to spend alone started feeling emptier than usual without you there.

Tom was sitting in the library, haven given up on reading the book on dark arts he had snuck out of the forbidden area. That was because right next to him was you of course, chatting away quietly about different mythical beasts and creatures, something about nargles or whatever. Tom just stayed quiet, he didn’t smile but his eyes were softer than usual, a hint of intrigue in them as he watched you.
