You let out a brief giggle as you watched Carlos and little Mya bound about the park, he was currently winning a high-stakes game of tag. Before long, Mya found some new friends and vanished off to the roundabout with them, leaving Carlos to come huffing and puffing back to you.

"I won, just in case you were wondering." he managed to say proudly, still out of breath.

"I wasn't." you quipped back with a smile.

Before Carlos had a chance to catch his breath, you were approached by a little old lady...

"Is that your little girl?" she asked, pointing to Mya. "She's so well behaved! And my, doesn't she look like her father!" she continued as you both blushed and looked for a response.
