• Penelope: The leader of FreeSmart. Often called Pence-Pence by Madeline.

• Bertha: Kind-hearted, carefree, happy, forgiving, but also paranoid.
• Ruby: Sweet, bubbly and curious. Always act before thinks.
• Brooke: Polite, passive, and caring. But she can be arrogant at times.
• Ivy: Quiet, vengeful, and vindictive if necessary.

Penelope: "Wha-?! Who are you?!" Madeline: "OMG! You're, like, a boy!" Bertha: "Um... hi!" Ruby: "Looks so cool!" Brooke: "Oh my wordy words! A guy in FreeSmart?" Ivy: "Wha?"
